Required Electronic Signatures Disclosure and Agreement

You must click the “I Accept” button at the end of this Disclosure and Agreement to continue enrollment.

When you enroll in our Web Banking Service ("Web Banking Service") we are required by federal law and regulations to provide you with important disclosures, including terms and conditions, relating to the use of our Web Banking Service.  These disclosures, terms and conditions are included in our Web Banking Agreement and Electronic Funds Transfer Disclosure ("Web Banking Agreement").  With your consent, we will provide the Web Banking Agreement to you electronically during the enrollment process.  However, the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-Sign) requires that you first agree to receive our Web Banking Agreement in electronic form. The following E-Sign Disclosure and Agreement (“Disclosure and Agreement”) contains information we are required to provide to you before you give us your consent to receive our Web Banking Agreement electronically.

In this Disclosure and Agreement, the words “you” and “your” mean the individual enrolling in our Web Banking Service. The words “Bank,” “we,” “our” and “us” mean the Essex Savings Bank.

Requesting Paper Copy of W
eb Banking Agreement.
At your request, we will provide you with a copy of the Web Banking Agreement in paper-based media. To request a paper copy, contact us by email at essexsavings@essexsavings.com. We will not charge you any fees for providing a paper copy of the Web Banking Agreement.

Your Consent is Required.   You must consent to receiving the Web Banking Agreement electronically in order to continue enrolling for our Web Banking Service. If you do not want to receive the Web Banking Agreement electronically, you should exit this screen by selecting "I Decline" at the bottom of the page.  The enrollment process will be discontinued. If you do not consent to receiving the Web Banking Agreement electronically, our Web Banking Service will not be available to you.  If, after reading this Agreement, you wish to consent to electronic delivery of the Web Banking Agreement and enroll in our Web Banking Service, please click on “I Accept”, where indicated below.

System Requirements to Receive Web Banking Agreement and Access Web Banking. To receive an electronic copy of the Web Banking Agreement and to access the Web Banking Service, you must have the following:
 

·    A computer and modem, or other device capable of accessing the Internet, and the ability to receive HTML files;

·    An active “Internet Service Provider";

·    A Web Browser that supports 128‑bit SSL encryption;

·    The ability to download or print agreements and disclosures;

·    Adobe Acrobat Reader software
 

The Bank will notify you of any change to software and hardware requirements needed to access the Web Banking Service.  The notification will be sent to the e-mail address we have on record for your account, and will be available from the electronic statements area of our Web Banking Service as well.

To retain the Web Banking Agreement, your system must have the ability to either download (to your hard disk drive or a floppy diskette) or print both web pages (screens) and embedded HTML files.
 

Updating Your Information. You must keep us informed of any change in your telephone number, mailing address or e-mail address.  You may notify us of changes by submitting your written request to:

Acceptance of Disclosure and Agreement and Consent to Receive Electronic Copy of Web Banking Agreement. Clicking the “I Accept” button (below) constitutes your written signature and approval of, and agreement to be bound by, the terms of this Disclosure and Agreement.  If you click the “I Decline” button (below), your enrollment in Web Banking will be discontinued.

By clicking “I Accept,” you hereby:

Confirm that the Internet access device(s) you will use to receive the Web Banking Agreement and to access the Bank’s Web Banking Service meet(s) the system requirements described above; and consent to receiving the Web Banking Agreement electronically.
