James Parker Joins Essex Trust
March 13, 2019 – Essex, Connecticut. Essex Savings Bank is pleased to announce the addition of James “Jim” Parker as a Vice President and Trust Officer.

With more than 20 years of experience in financial services primarily in personal trust administration, his depth of experience will be an asset for our Trust Department,” stated Gregory R. Shook, President & CEO of Essex Savings Bank.
Prior to joining Essex Trust, Mr. Parker was a Senior Fiduciary Advisory Specialist with a large national bank. In that role he was responsible for managing complex trust relationships including the management of several large private foundations. Additionally, he has assisted individuals and families with reviewing estate planning documents and working with attorneys to draft and execute their plan.
Mr. Parker received his B.A. from Southern Connecticut State University and a J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law.
